Jesus Today: Devotions for Kids by Sarah Young Book Review

In Jesus Today Devotions for Kids, Sarah Young has written a brand new devotional geared towards teaching children about the principles of God’s Word. The devotional book contains 150 devotionals. It covered important topics such as hope, trust, choosing joy, peace, praying, and much more. Each day encompasses a story of encouragement found in scripture as well as three Bible verses.

The book begins with the topic of, “My Kind of Hope”. This day discusses putting our hope in Christ and expecting Him to keep His promises that are found in His written Word. God has amazing plans for our children and it’s critical we remind them of this when they are disappointed or afraid. Sarah Young shared the core message of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and how much love He has for us. You can put our hope and trust into a loving Creator.

I would recommend this awesome book to every single young child. I have read Jesus Calling by Sarah Young and I loved reading that devotional book. I loved how she writes each day like it is God talking to readers. I was glad when she decided to write a devotional book for children where kids can begin to learn about God’s love and forgiveness. I liked how it included key topics and encouragement in order to assist believers in their walk with Christ. The book had a very nice bright blue color and it was very appealing to young children. I liked how it also had a nice ribbon bookmark in it where it would be easier for readers to hold their spot. If you’re looking for a brand new devotional for your children, then get this book!
