Don't Sweat the Small Stuff Everyday: 365 Simple Ways to Live a Life You Love by Richard Carlson and Kristine Carlson Book Review

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff Everyday is a book that contains a year worth of simple ways to embrace the good life and build a life you will be proud of. We can all learn to not overthink and to not sweat the small things that doesn’t matter in the long run. Some of the topics included backstabbing, recognize patterns of behavior, find a mentor, accept that people are always going to be mad at you, quiet the mind, learn to delegate, and much more. This book is a great resource to use as a daily devotional.

One of the days discussed will it matter a year from now. They shared how they like to play a game called time warp to see what truly matters. It’s a very easy way to see if what matters now will matter a year from now. It could be an argument, disagreement, a mistake, a lost opportunity, rejection, or heartache. A lot of the time what we choose to dwelt on isn’t going to make a difference a year from now. We may not even be able to recall the event. It can provide you with a fresh preceptive.

I would recommend this awesome book to anyone who is tired of focusing on the wrong things and sweating the things that don’t matter. We are all guilty of getting worked up over things that we can’t even change, but we like to believe that we can. If we think about it enough and try then just maybe it will change for the better. I loved the principles and readers could greatly see their lives change if they would just follow the lessons enclosed in this book.
