Love Like Ours

Contemporary Romance
Bethany House Becky Wade has written another heart warming love story in the third installment of the Porter Family series.* Former Marine Jake Porter has far deeper scars than the one that marks his face. He struggles with symptoms of PTSD, lives a solitary life, and avoids relationships.
When Lyndie James, Jake's childhood best friend, lands
back in Holley, Texas, Jake cautiously hires her to exercise his
Thoroughbreds. Lyndie is tender-hearted, fiercely determined, and afraid of
nothing, just like she was as a child. Jake pairs her with Silver Leaf, a
horse full of promise but lacking in results, hoping she can solve the mystery
of the stallion's reluctance to run.
Though Jake and Lyndie have grown into very different
adults, the bond that existed during their childhood still ties them
together. Against Jake's will, Lyndie's sparkling, optimistic personality
begins to tear down the walls he's built around his heart. A glimmer of the
hope he'd thought he'd lost returns, but fears and regrets still plague him.
Will Jake ever be able to love Lyndie like she deserves, or is his heart too
shattered to mend?
*While this is the third book in a series, it is written as a standalone.

My
Review:
I would recommend this awesome series to anyone who
enjoys reading romantic filled novels mixed with a faith based theme. I liked
how she covered the important topic of PTSD and I can tell she must have done
a lot of research in order to understand PTSD fully. She described in great detail
how the main character, Jake Porter struggled with living with PTSD after
what he experienced in the military. I enjoyed the romance between Lyndie and
Jake and I connected with the intense connection they had as kids and how
Lyndie desperately wanted it to return. Their childhood best friend relationship
reminded me of a country song by Miranda Lambert, “Me and Charlie Talking” and
it was constantly in my head while reading this book.
My favorite character would be Jake because he was the
loner and he was the guy who refused to get close to any one out of fear that
they would die and he would be heartbroken again. He struggled with guilt after
losing some of his buddies in the terrible military accident. I liked how she
showed the power of prayer and the importance of waiting on God’s timing. I
have read a few books by Becky Wade and her writing keeps getting better and
better. I can’t wait to read more in the Porter Family series! I hope she
continues it for a few more books! I also hope she shares more on a minor
character Amber. If you’re looking for a new novel to read for the summer,
then check this one out!

I must confess that over here in the United States, it is very difficult to get a powerful spell caster that will be able to restore broken marriages or relationships, But through the help of the internet, i was able to get in touch with this powerful spell caster called UDE GRACE, after reading a lot of good reviews about her on the internet, so i contact him through these details via email: greatspellofsolutiontemple@gmail.com, And after i told her about my relationship stress then UDE GRACE told me to calm down that my lover will come back to apologies to me, for leaving me, I never taught that this was going to be possible, Just within 48 hours that i contacted UDE GRACE my lover sent me and a sms text saying that i should forgive him and before i knew it he was already at my place begging me to accept him back. you can contact her on greatspellofsolutiontemple@gmail.com Trust me she will help you with the right solution you needed
