The Biggest Story: How the Snake Crusher Brings Us Back to the Garden by Kevin Deyoung and Illustrated by Don Clark Book Review

The Biggest Story is an illustrated book written by Kevin Deyoung. This book walks children through the small stories of Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Daniel, Jesus birth, and Jesus resurrection. The book also explained how all of the stories related to the biggest story and that is Jesus fulfilling the prophecies of the scriptures.

I would recommend this amazing book to every single child. The book shows the true story of Biblical stories and it’s written in a way that children can understand the meaning of the stories. I liked how Kevin Deyoung connected the Old Testament to the New Testament and he showed how Jesus was the answer to the prophecies in the Old Testament. I loved how the book contained such powerful illustrations. The illustrations are very bright and abstract looking and it will engage children and lure them into comprehending the message. Readers can tell the drawings must have taken a while to complete and the drawings were printed very clear. I also like how the cover and the back page had the 3D texture to make it more kids friendly. If you’re looking for a kid’s friendly book with a Christian message, then read this book!
