Diary of a Jackwagon by Tim Hawkins Book Review

In Diary of a Jackwagon, Tim Hawkins shared personal stories that he used in his famous comedian routines. Tim Hawkins is known for his popular song about Chick-fil-a and being a family friendly comedian. Throughout the book, he tells jokes about his marriage, parenting, relatives, and Christian worship moves. He also shared the lyrics from some of his favorite cover remixes that he sings during his comedian routines. The book is very family friendly. Be prepared to laugh!

I would recommend this awesome book to anyone who is a huge fan of Tim Hawkins jokes. One of my favorite chapters was, “Roller Coaster” and how he discussed how married life changes and how we act differently when we were first married. I liked how the Tim Hawkins is very family friendly in telling jokes and he loves to make Christians laugh. Tim Hawkins is crossed between Cledus T. Judd and Larry the Cable Guy and that’s why he is one of my favorite comedians. I loved some of the lyrics he shared in the book. Some of my favorites was, “Things Not to Say to Your Wife” to the tune of Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)”, “Cletus, Take the Reel” to the tune of Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus, Take the Wheel”, “Colonoscopy”, and many more. I also loved how he covers country, classic rock, Christian music, and today’s music and he changes the words in order to get a laugh. I also loved how he included a chart of entitled, “The Official Worship Signals”. This chart is just hilarious and it’s kind of true! If you’re seriously looking for a new book to make you laugh, then read this one!
