The Great Disappearance: 31 Ways to be Rapture Ready by Dr. David Jeremiah Book Review

In The Great Disappearance, Dr. David Jeremiah warned readers about how an exciting day and a terrifying day for unbelievers are coming. He begins the book by explaining how the return of Jesus could be very soon. There will first be a great disappearance and billions of people will suddenly vanish. The rapture will be announced by the Lord shouting up from Heaven, with help from the archangel, and the trumpet of God will sound. Dead bodies that have been buried will rise. Conflicts are shifting and the love for others is getting colder. Nuclear weapons can now be carried by hand and there are wars between nations. The days of Noah will be coming again. We are currently experiencing a deep corruption throughout the nations. He covered the topic what if we die before the rapture what happens. He revealed what will happened to child during the rapture. He explored the seven-year Tribulation and what unbelievers can expect to occur if they choose to not to accept Jesus as their Savior. He explained why the rapture has to happen and how this will help to purify Israel.

I would recommend this awesome book on the rapture and the great disappearance the world will witness when believers are missing. I really liked how he broke down a lot of the questions and thoughts we have about the future and what is to come. I also liked how he shared his thoughts on if people will get a second chance to accept Jesus. He made this book very simple to understand and for readers to get a grasp on the future. There is tons of references to verses and passages. One of my favorite parts was the section Live Like You Were Dying which is a song reference to Tim McGraw’s hit song. It reminds readers to love deeper, speak sweeter, giving forgiveness, and most of all living like it’s your last day. We can live on purpose and be prepared that today could be the day that Jesus returns.

Encouraging Words for a Discouraging World: 10 Biblical Promises to Bring Comfort in Chaos by Dr. David Jeremiah Book Review

In Encouraging Words for a Discouraging World, Dr. David Jeremiah has written a new book to embolden readers with a special resilience to overcome challenges. We are all faced with upsetting news reports or we receive a dread phone call from a loved one. We get crushed to our knees in fear and discouragement. He explained how the Bible is filled with the knowledge and hope on how to survive in troubling times. He shared how Peter discussed God’s promises and how they can sustain our faith. His promises are infallible and will last until the end of time. Each chapter contained a short story, a short quote, questions, a spot to journal, and a prayer.

In the book, he opened up about how in 1994, he discovered he had a mass in his abdomen. It was lymphoma and he felt tired all the time. He shared how pain led him to diving into God’s word and he would study and reflect on God’s promises. He explored Paul and how he experienced thorns in his own life and satan was the one causing him to be buffeted. He had his own share of afflictions and scholars are mixed on all of the health issues he could have faced. This is directed to how God’s grace is sufficient to us and His strength is perfect in our weaknesses. He even asked God to remove the thorn three times in his life and God wouldn’t. God was still active in his life and gave the strength to continue on and run his race.

I would recommend this awesome book filled with true encouragement to inspire you while you are in the mist of feeling down and hopeless. I also appreciated how he stated the importance of journaling and remembering what past victories we have conquered. It was motivating to read about how David would journal and remember his past successes and gain wisdom from the past. We can use this as an inventory tool to recall God’s faithfulness in our lives. I liked how positive this book was and provide a rekindled hope for the future even when confronted with discouragement.

The Jeremiah Study Bible: Psalms and Proverbs by Dr. David Jeremiah Book Review

The Jeremiah Study Bible is enclosed in a gray leather bound book covering Psalms and Proverbs. Psalms was written by King David and Proverbs was written by Solomon. Jeremiah uses the English Standard Version of the Bible in this book. He begins the book by writing a welcome letter to readers. He describes his background of his father being a pastor and his mother helping to live it out in their home. When his father passed, he was gifted sermon notes and his Bibles. Dr. David Jeremiah has been in ministry for over 40 years. Before each book, he included introductions to assist readers in learning the background of how they were written and the timeframe. He also breaks it down until “what it says, what it means, and what it means for you”. He encouraged readers to read, medicate, explore the themes in the books, and join a Bible study to dig in deeper. Throughout the book, it contained sidebars such as, “picture this, historically speaking, fyi, tough questions, and reflection”. It also has essentials of the Christian throughout the book and footnotes on helping readers to understand what they are reading. There are many encouraging scriptures in these two books of the Bible. They both cover themes such as, joy coming in the morning, the steadfast love of God, God is our deliverer, worshiping our Creator, the value of discovering wisdom, speaking life giving words, the woman who fears God, and much more. This is also some special online resources and this includes videos, audio, and additional reading material.

I would recommend this amazing study Bible to anyone who is ready to grow in their relationship with Christ and they are ready to seek wisdom. I immensely like how Dr. David Jeremiah included special introductions and he went into details about what all this means for us and how we can apply daily to our everyday lives. Psalms and Proverbs is probably one of the two biggest books of the Bible people look for when they are seeking wisdom for their circumstances and they both provide comfort and encouragement. I liked how he included helpful footnotes to explain certain key points of scriptures. I enjoyed reading the verses and obtaining the wisdom we can learn from each page. I liked how the book was a nice size and it’s easy to carry around. If you’re looking for a new study Bible on these chapters, then read this book!

The Book of Signs 31 Undeniable Prophecies of the Apocalypse By Dr. David Jeremiah Book Review

In the Book of Signs 31 Undeniable Prophecies of the Apocalypse, Dr. David Jeremiah explored the different signs of the end signs and how we can recognize them in the upcoming days. The book is divided into five different sections, “International Signs, Cultural Signs, Heavenly Signs, Tribulation Signs, and End Signs”. The book contains almost 500 pages of material. The book looked at Israel, Russia, Babylon, America and much more and their roles in the end times. The book discussed how Russia will attack Israel and how they will invade them. It also went into detail about the different areas that will be involved in the war and what the Biblical areas would be called in today times. He looks at prophecies concerning when this could occur and how God will prevail and show the world the power of Christ and how Israel will be protected. The book also explored why America wasn’t named in Revelations and the end times and what all of this could mean. He shared about how our nation was founded on Biblical principles and how we have fell away from them and how we have begun to moral decay. The book explored radical Islam and how they murdered countless Christians and how many have struggled persecution. The book also looked at rapture, Heaven, antichrist, false prophet, two witnesses, mark of the beast, and the new Heaven.

I would recommend this eye-opening book on anyone who is curious about the end times and they want to understand what is to come in the near future. This book is a great book to reach unbelievers and this book has the power to help influence them into believing in Jesus Christ the Messiah before it’s too late. I immensely love how Dr. David Jeremiah really shared scriptures throughout the book to help readers comprehend the scriptures found in Revelations. I learned a lot about the new Heaven and what Christians have to look forward to. I also learned what is to come in the tribulation with the antichrist, false prophet, and how the world will be in chaos. I also liked how thick the book was and you can tell Dr. Jeremiah put his research in the book in writing the book. If you’re ready to learn about the end times, then read this book!
